Uses of Gypsum
Gypsum uses include the manufacture of wallboard, cement, plaster of Paris, soil conditioning, a hardening retarder in portland cement. Varieties of gypsum known as "satin spar" and "alabaster" are used for a variety of ornamental purposes; however, their low hardness limits their durability.

Partex Gypsum Plasterboard is a Wall Board dry lining for internal use. It has one Ivory surface for direct decoration and one Grey surface which are fixed on the flat areas. Plasterboard is also called drywall and wallboard consists of a noncombustible core made of gypsum powder which is an inert, non-toxic mining element and completely free from health hazards.
